Signposting support for parents is what I hope to achieve with this website. Based on my experiences and observations of being a parent and through searching millions of websites for help and support, I found it difficult to find a centralised hub of information that helped me support my own children. 

I am blessed with two children, both wonderfully unique and capable in their own ways, but like all our little turtles, getting to that metaphorical ocean, along with thousands of others, has raised various challenges. And watching as a parent has been hard. 

Some of our children, don’t find this journey as easy as others. For some of our ‘turtles’, their peers appear to race ahead, some even clamber over others to get in front. Some are left alone, struggling to move forward, and some simply stop moving for fear of getting it wrong.  And as a parent, that’s tough…heart-breaking even. 

But, we aren’t alone. Signposting support for parents about challenges faced in childhood, I hope this website offers others a bit of guidance towards support and strategies to help with their own journey. Because they all get there eventually, it’s just at their own pace. And that’s okay.
